Megan's GJC - From The Members

I've always loved singing. I've been part of choirs for most of my life and over college was part of a band in a live music club, however for the last few years singing has taken a big back seat (other than the obsessive singing to myself in the car-nothing better than a cheesy sing along to a bit of Busted).

Mum came back from watching GJC perform at Christmas and said she wanted to join and asked if I wanted to join. I was a little unsure to start with but took the plunge and came along to the first rehearsal after Christmas and absolutely loved it. I was instantly welcomed into the tenners with open arms and soon introduced to my mates Sally and Bob.

I didn't realise how much I missed being in a choir and singing with people and harmonizing! I'm back to my old ways of harmonizing to every single song on the radio-I love it. It's really nice being in a choir with such a variety of people and ages- it makes in unlike any other choir I've been in and is just such a laugh!

I recommend it to anyone who likes singing and wants to have fun on a Sunday night!
