Becky's GJC - From The Members

I joined jazz choir about a year ago after my Grannie came to a rehearsal and told me how great it was. I came along to see what it was like, not expecting to actually become a member! On my first rehearsal, I instantly felt welcomed into the group as everyone was so friendly – this was one of the reasons I wanted to come back as well as the fact I loved the harmonies and the variety of songs we sing! I used to dread Sunday evenings as I was preparing myself for college, but now I really look forward to Sunday's thanks to jazz choir (helped by the fact I have finished college!) Music and drama have been a huge part of my life - I have been in a couple of different choirs since I was about 5 or 6 and I’ve been in pantomimes (that my Grannie directs) for the last 14 years, since the age of 4! I’m so pleased I joined jazz choir as it has allowed me to continue my singing with such a lovely, friendly bunch of people!'
